TAMAM ProjectA school-based reform project for the Arab World

An Eight-Year Project of Two Phases

TAMAM is an eight-year project with secure funding from the Arab Thought Foundation. The project’ s duration renders it among the rare educational projects allowing extended monitoring and follow-up. The project consists of two phases: Phase I extended for three years (from 2007-2010) and Phase II extends for five years (from 2010-2015).

TAMAM was initially launched in three private schools in each of three countries (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Lebanon), and was later joined by three public schools in Lebanon.

In Phase II, TAMAM will follow up with the Phase I schools to expand its activities within them. TAMAM in Phase II will thus witness expansion on two levels: geographically (encompassing three new countries) and within the Phase I countries (to encompass new schools in those countries and to expand its activities within Phase I schools).
