Conferences and Forums

To present the project and keep the region’s education community informed of TAMAM’s development and findings, the TAMAM regularly participates in local and regional conferences and forums. Among them:

The Fifth Arab Education Forum:
TAMAM Project was presented in the Fifth Arab Education Forum titled: “Education in the Arab World and Globalization” held from 2-4 April 2008 in Morocco. The Project was presented during a session on successful education initiatives in the Arab World.

Education Café in the Fikr 7 Conference:
During the Fikr 7 Conference’s Education Café titled “The role of the school as a source for development and reform” held in Cairo (Egypt) on November 14, 2008, members of the AUB team presented TAMAM Project in front of educators from different countries of the Arab World. TAMAM school members attended the conference, discussed their TAMAM experiences with other attendees and presented their work in a poster session.

AUB’s Education Forum entitled “Approaches to Educational Reform”:
On January 15, 2009 the TAMAM Project was presented in the Education Forum titled “Approaches to Educational Reform” and organized by the Department of Education in the American University of Beirut. During this forum, the Project was presented and compared to a ministry initiative for reform which was also presented in this forum.

General Assembly Meeting of the Lebanese Association for Educational Studies (LAES):
TAMAM was presented during the General Assembly Meeting of LAES held in April 2009 and attended by education university faculty from all over Lebanon.
