TAMAM Workshop 1
Improving Practice through Action Research

Project participants from the schools, universities, and ministries of Jordan, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia met together in the Amman Workshop and shared experiences related to action research and school reform. The workshop was held between June 29, 2007 and July 3, 2007 in the Amman Baccalaureate School.

 Research Tools and Data Analysis

A second workshop took place in AUB, Beirut between January 18, 2008 and January 20, 2008. Project participants from the schools, universities, and ministries of Jordan, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia met together and shared experiences related to research tools and means of data analysis.

Analysis and Interpretation of Research Data

A third workshop took place in AUB, Beirut between July 25 and July 27, 2008. Project participants from the schools, universities, and ministries of Jordan, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia met together and shared experiences related to data analysis and interpreting and reporting research data. School teams also presented the work they have done on their projects.
 

TAMAM Workshop 4
From Research to Action

TAMAM Project’s fourth workshop took place in AUB, Beirut between January 23 and January 25, 2009. During this workshop, schools presented their action research projects, brainstormed on ways for expanding TAMAM activities in the schools, and were introduced to reflective practice at the individual level, the school level, and the organizational development level.

TAMAM Workshop 5
Moving towards School-wide Improvement

The fifth workshop of TAMAM took place at AUB between July 1st and July 3rd, 2009. During this workshop, the schools discussed assertions developed by the AUB team upon reflecting on the first two years of the project and shared their own reflective evaluations about their work in the project. The schools were also invited to start an action plan at the school level. The AUB team and the schools brainstormed about possible venues to continue TAMAM’s work in the future.

TAMAM Workshop 6
Leading School Improvement

The sixth TAMAM workshop took place at AUB between February 26 and February 28, 2010. During the first two days of the workshop, participants engaged in reflection on the school teams' attempts towards school improvement. On the third day, the AUB team reviewed the flow of activities it adopted since the beginning of the Project, and participants and the AUB team itself reflected on it and came up with lessons learned.
