TAMAM AUB team visit to Oman December 2nd and 3rd, 2011

The TAMAM project launched its activities in Oman between the 2nd and 3rd of December. The two-day meeting was organized in collaboration with Dr. Abdullah Ambusaidi and Dr. Ali Al Bulushi from Sultan Quaboos University (SQU) who will be leading the project in Oman. AUB TAMAM team met with the university professors, ministry representatives as well as with the new school teams in Muscat. On the first day, the AUB team met with representatives from the Ministry of Education and Muscat General Directorate of Education while on the second day they met with the teams from three schools in Muscat; namely, Hail Alwamer Secondary School, Al Wadi Al Kabir Secondary School, and Al Ezdihar Basic Education School. The school teams introduced their schools and presented some improvement initiatives currently implemented at their schools. On the other hand, the AUB team discussed the project, its goals and assumptions and shared success stories and challenges from their experience in TAMAM.
